We are excited to bring you this new series of trainings focused on providing a lens of relational equity and cultural competency to improve student engagement through effective classroom management focused on student-to-educator relationships and student-to-student relationships. Educator relationships aim to increase student hope and resiliency as the greatest factor toward graduation and individual success. 

*There is no prerequisite to each Module. You can pick and choose which to attend.  

M4. Culturally Responsive Behavior Interventions

Clock Hours: 3 free clock hours per training, with a possible total of 15

Course Objectives:  

• Investigate ways to promote positive classroom and social behavior development.

• Identify strategies for implementing culturally responsive behavior interventions that address the underlying causes and functions of behavior.

• Adapt core principles of culturally responsive behavior intervention to meet the specific needs of students.

• Homework: Create behavior intervention strategies to help current behavior violations that are occurring in the participants' classrooms.
